To become more agile, small and mid-market global organizations need a highly modular, cloud-based real-time environment. SAP created SAP S/4HANA as the core of its Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) to help achieve this.

SAP BTP is the foundation for the Intelligent Enterprise. It provides SAP Partners, and their customers’ in-house development teams, with a greater ability to extend the functionality of SAP systems. It also enables them to more easily harness the power of intelligent technologies, such as machine learning and Robotic Process Automation (RPA). Using SAP BTP, SAP partners can build bespoke apps and industry-specific add-ons more easily and with faster time-to-value.

Nadia Casagrande, Partner Ecosystem Success, SAP Partner Readiness, Communications, SAP, recently wrote a blog about how partners are integrating SAP BTP into their own IP and what the advantages are to the partner and to the end customer. Read on to find out more….

Partners Accelerate the Adoption of SAP BTP through SAP-Qualified Partner-Packaged Solutions

Since the beginning of this year, SAP partners have continuously been trained and enabled to successfully drive customer adoption of SAP’s Business Technology Platform (BTP). This has resulted in a rapidly increasing appetite from partners to embed components from the SAP BTP portfolio into their SAP-Qualified Partner-Packaged Solutions, resulting in the number of packages with BTP embedded swiftly rising over the course of the year.

The benefits of embedding BTP components into the SAP-Qualified Partner-Packaged Solutions are clear. For the partners – leveraging SAP’s cutting edge technology allows them to increasingly differentiate their solutions from each other, while simultaneously enhancing the overall competitiveness and industry focus of them. Whether it is adding Intelligent Technologies to give customers access to the latest innovations, adding partner IP by building extensions, or leveraging the integration suite to enable out of the box integration to other enterprise applications, all of these help partners craft and solidify the unique value proposition of their packaged solution.

From a customer perspective, the advantages of investing in a partner packaged solution with BTP embedded are also clear. They will receive a solution, based on fixed scope/fixed price, which is tried and tested in action, and which from the outset contains the scope and SAP innovations which will help accelerate both the time to value as well as the ability to innovate further. An obvious example of this would be the integration of SAP Analytics Cloud into an ERP package based on RISE with SAP. Getting pre-built partner content and dashboards enhance the value of the overall solution and removes the need for the customer to consider other analytics options.
