Barcelona, Spain
Our first United VARs Academy in 2024 took place in Barcelona from April 22-26. A very special thanks to SAP Barcelona for their wonderful hospitality, and to AWS for its support of our academy. We welcomed nine nationalities across six United VARs member companies and these were All for One Group SE, All for One Customer Experience.
We made sure to put the fun into business as well with a Spanish cooking class on our last night. The team savoured the delights of Iberia by learning and tasting traditional Spanish cuisine, providing a fitting end to our business week.
All in all, it was felt the attendees would be returning to their respective countries having learned to tackle new challenges, as well as more information about driving innovation within the SAP ecosystem.
Toronto, Canada
The second United VARs Academy of 2024 took part in Toronto in May where we welcomed 16 participants from 10 different nationalities across four United VARs member companies.
We started the week with a teambuilding scavenger hunt in the heart of downtown Toronto, supporting the phrase “strength in numbers” when we come together as a group. We also experienced a Canadian dessert with the name ‘Beaver Tails’, which we were able to eat straight from our own food truck.

Angeline Hazel Henry, Syntax: “I learned that consulting is not just teaching, it’s about giving, it’s about receiving, it’s about your emotional support to your customers.”
Cameron Fischer, Aclaros: “The Toronto Academy has given me people’s different perspectives on things and an understanding of how they solve others’ problems, what challenges they run in to, and what strategies they use to solve challenges.”
Rebecca Trickl, All for One SE: We not only get the chance to meet people from different countries and cultures, but also interact with different roles and project management and consultants, all of which will enrich my role when I’m back in Germany working in sales.”
