- June 14, 2022, Dubai, UAE -
United VARs Senior Business Development Manager, Florencia Bicain, attended Seidor’s CIO Roundtable event in Dubai on June 14, organized by Seidor MENA, together with UAE media brand, Khaleej Times. The title of the activity was ‘IT Transformed: Building enterprise capabilities to outperform’.
In addition to Florencia, delegates included Ignacio Ruiz de Eguilaz and Tariq Laham from Seidor MENA, Mohammed Hammad from SAP, and Alessandro Di Marco, CIO of Vantage Drilling. All came with an open mind, ready to share and learn from their peers.
Topics on the table for discussion, as well as thoughts shared by the event’s C-suite were:
- What do we think are the traits of a modern-day CIO? What are the top technologies used today and what do we foresee being important over the next five years;
- How emerging technologies have been used to overcome challenges, with an invitation to provide use cases;
- How are we driving culture change, making our respective workplaces innovative and how are we transforming operating models.
Full engagement and support were enjoyed, as well as a willingness for all involved to be part of any future such CIO roundtables, partnering with SAP and United VARs, with a focus on the end-user objectives and challenges.
